YOU ONLY HAVE HALF OF THIS THEME!!!! If you want more wallpaper, icons, and other cool stuff- go to the Star Wars 3D picture of the week page at http://www.uncg.edu/~jgvarner/3dstuff/3dnew.htm -----------------------------Installation instructions:--------------------------------- Just unzip into your themes directory. It will make a directory called "dstar" where it will store all the sounds, icons, and cursors. Once installed, simply choose the death star assault theme in your themes control panel. To activate the startup and shutdown screens, simply copy "logo.sys" into your root directory (usually drive C:\). Next, copy "logow.sys" & "logos.sys" into your main windows directory (usually C:\windows\). If you wish to retain your original startup and shut down screens, you must make a backup BEFORE copying the files! *******Important*********** If you cannot get this file to install to the proper directories, or if it has problems recognizing filenames-- you have an outdated form of pkzip. Download Winzip ver 6.0 or higher from http://www.windows95.com and use that. If it still will not go into the proper directory, make a subdirectory called "dstar" in your theme directory, and move everything except the "*.theme" file into it. ----------------------Special Note regarding icons & cursors-------------------------- The cursors included in this theme were primarily designed to be run on 16 bit color or higher machines. If you are running in 256 color mode, you will need to change the cursors to the 16 color versions which are included. Also, I have included both big and small icons (48x48 & 32x32). The default is large, but the small icons are needed for non-plus and windows NT systems (If you have already have Plus, it will shrink them down if you choose regular icons). Owners of certain Diamond Video Cards may have a problem displaying the cursors properly. If you own a diamond video card, and the animation stops or jitters, you should contact Diamond and obtain the latest Win 95 driver. This should alleviate the problem. --------------------------------------NOTES-------------------------------------------- I have tried to model this theme after the final assault on the deathstar in Star Wars, and if I have a chance, I will try to do a theme for each movie in the series! I have also included some cursors and icons that are not actually used, but I spent a lot of time making them, so the least you can do is to take a look. Note-The A-wing cursor is particularly cool.
