They began with the game deleting 50GB of data during the beta and most recently upset those who paid $200 for the Collector's Edition by shipping them a cheap nylon bag. However, the problems extend to support for the game, too. As Kotaku reports, earlier this week Bethesda's support system started sharing the support tickets of those requesting replacement Fallout 76 bags with other players filing similar tickets. It meant if you started a support ticket, chances are you could also view other tickets players had posted. The details shared included screenshots, names, and addresses among other things. You can see what was happening from the screenshot included in Jessi Tray's tweet above. The damage is limited because the personal information leak looks to have only happened with other Bethesda customers and not the wider public. That's not to say the information hasn't been shared by one or more of those customers, but it seems unlikely. So far, Bethesda hasn't explained what happened, but LadyDevann, a community manager on the Bethesda forums did confirm yesterday that the issue had been resolved. What followed her post was lots of questions asking for an explanation. The discussion has now reached 11 pages in length and none of the posts are Bethesda offering further clarification. I'd guess Fallout 76 is fast disappearing from people's hottest games of the holidays lists.
