The search tool in Windows 10 still allows you to narrow searches to specific types of items, such as apps, music, and settings. You can still conduct web searches directly from the search field without first having to open your browser. The latest version makes full use of Cortana's integration to get you the results you want, and even suggest a few things on its own. Using the search field, you can now search directly for apps, settings, documents, photos, and websites right off the bat by selecting one of those categories.
