It's always a good idea to have a spare controller available for your PlayStation 4, and Sony is giving us four reasons to purchase another DualShock 4 by introducing some new color options this fall. If you've been keeping track, Sony has already offered us 25 different color variants, but clearly you can't have too many so we're getting four more. They will be named Electric Purple, Red Camouflage, Titanium Blue, and the increasingly common color option for gadgets: Rose Gold. There's nothing special about these DualShock 4 controllers beyond the new color schemes. Of the four, the Titanium Blue stands out with its metallic top cover and matte blue black, but everyone will have a favorite and the Red Camouflage is certainly "different," and some would say hard to look at. They will all retail for the RRP of $64.99 when they launch in September. The Rose Gold color option may be of most interest if you like your gaming peripherals to match, that's because Sony is also introducing a matching Rose Gold Edition wireless headset. You'll be kept waiting until November for that to launch, though, which should give you enough time to save the $99.99 required to buy it. If you're less bothered about the color and care more about the price, it's easy to grab a brand new DualShock 4 controller for well under the RRP. For example, Amazon regularly offers them priced below $45. The black or white variants of the headset can also be found for under $80.
