pcmag.comNetflix has announced that Arcane, the animated series based on League of Legends that's produced in partnership with Riot Games, will be returning for a second season.Arcane builds on a decade-plus of lore scattered throughout voice lines, item descriptions, and other supporting details in the popular MOBA. The first season included nine episodes released over the course of three weeks; the final batch went live shortly after this announcement.Riot Games has long sought to make League of Legends more than just a standalone title. It's released comics based on its lore—some of which were published by Marvel—and released some other titles that take place in the game's universe. The company also recently announced that it's continued work on Project L, the fighting game featuring League of Legends characters, and showed the game in action on Twitter:Now it seems that Riot Games and Netflix both remain committed to Arcane, which follows League of Legends characters such as Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn, among others, in their misadventures. Netflix didn't say when season two of Arcane is expected to debut.
