Disney+ arrives on Nov. 12, and whether you'll be firing up The Mandalorian or re-living your youth with The Great Muppet Caper and other classics, you can stream its vast library from a variety of devices. Disney+ supports four concurrent streams at time, so the kids can watch on their tablets while mom and dad watch on TV. It also allows unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices for on-the-go viewing. Here's where you can tune in. What Devices Are Compatible With Disney+? When Disney announced launch dates for Disney+ in August, its initial list of compatible devices included the usual suspects: Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV, as well as full integration with the Apple TV app; customers can subscribe to Disney+ via in-app purchase) Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast, and Chromecast built-in devices) Microsoft (Xbox One) Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (all Android-based Sony TVs and PlayStation 4) Roku (Roku streaming players and Roku TV models) What About Amazon Fire TV? One glaring omission on that list was Amazon's lineup of Fire TV devices. Last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon and Disney were fighting over Amazon's request that it have control over "a substantial percentage of the ad space on Disney apps." As the Journal notes, Amazon initially allowed content creators to appear on Fire TV devices without having to give up any ad revenue, but "lately Amazon has been tightening its proposed terms in discussions with certain programmers." The two companies have since worked things out. Last week, they announced that the Disney+ app would be available on Fire TV sticks, Fire TV edition Smart TVs, and compatible Fire Tablets starting on Nov. 12. "Fire TV and Fire Tablet customers can sign up for a seven-day free trial directly on their Amazon device starting November 12th, after which they will be charged $6.99 a month," Amazon said in the announcement. "If a customer signed up for Disney+ on another device, they can simply log into their account." How to Get Disney+ Head to the Disney+ website, where you can sign up for the service for $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. There will also be a $12.99-per-month bundle of Disney+, ESPN+, and ad-supported version of Hulu. Verizon customers will get a free year of Disney+; here's how to sign up.
